Privacy Policy

Freedom RX (“Freedom RX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates freedomrxhealth.com and related pages (the “Site”). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we disclose it to, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Site and to communications with us. Care delivered through our patient portal is also covered by the privacy practices of the independent, licensed providers and pharmacies who treat you and fill your prescriptions, including their HIPAA notices where applicable.

We wrote this in plain English on purpose. Your health is your business. Keeping it that way is ours.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

• Contact and account details: name, email address, mailing address, date of birth, and login credentials when you create an account or reach out to us.
• Health information: answers to medical intake questions, medical history, and related details you provide so a licensed provider can evaluate you. This is the most sensitive information we handle and it gets the strictest protection under this policy.
• Payment information: collected and processed by our payment processors. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
• Communications: emails and messages you send to support or through the patient portal.

Information collected automatically

• Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, referring pages, and timestamps.
• Cookies and similar technologies: described in Section 4 below.

Information from others

• Care partners: the licensed providers and pharmacies in our network share information with us as needed to coordinate your visit, prescription, and shipping.
• Service providers: payment processors and shipping carriers share transaction and delivery status.

2. How we use your information

• To connect you with licensed providers and pharmacies and coordinate your care, prescriptions, and shipments.
• To create and manage your account, process payments, and provide customer support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Site, including analytics on how pages are used.
• To send service messages about your account, orders, and shipments.
• To send marketing emails about Freedom RX, which you can opt out of at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• To advertise Freedom RX, subject to the strict limits in Sections 4 and 5. We never use your health information for this.
• To comply with law, enforce our terms, and protect the rights and safety of our patients, our partners, and the public.

We do not use your information for purposes materially different from those described here without telling you first and, where required, getting your consent.

3. We never sell or share your personal information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never will. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing, and we do not give data brokers access to it.

Your health information gets an even stronger commitment: we never disclose your medical intake answers, diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatment details to advertising platforms, analytics vendors, or social media companies, and we never use them to target advertising.

One honest note about definitions: some state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, define the use of third party advertising cookies as “sharing” or even a “sale” of personal information, even when no money changes hands and no health data is involved. To the extent an advertising cookie on the Site falls under those definitions, you have the right to opt out, and we make that easy. See Sections 4, 5, and 7.

4. Cookies, analytics, and tracking technologies

Like most websites, we use cookies and similar technologies (pixels, local storage). They fall into three buckets:

• Essential cookies. Required for the Site to work, such as keeping you signed in and remembering basic settings. These cannot be switched off through us, though your browser can block them.
• Analytics cookies. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site, such as which pages are visited and for how long, so we can improve it. This data is pseudonymous usage data, not your medical information. Analytics cookies are set only if you allow them in the consent banner, and you can also opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Advertising cookies. We may use advertising and remarketing cookies from platforms such as Google Ads and Meta so we can advertise Freedom RX efficiently, including showing ads to people who have visited the Site before. These load only after you opt in through the consent banner. They record that a browser visited our marketing pages, and they are never given your medical intake answers, health conditions, prescriptions, or treatment details.

When you first visit, a consent banner asks what you are comfortable with. No analytics or advertising cookies are set until you choose, and you can change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer of every page. If you withdraw consent, we also clear the analytics and advertising cookies already on your device. Your browser settings can also refuse or delete cookies entirely, though blocking essential ones may break parts of the Site.

5. Remarketing and online advertising

Remarketing means you might see a Freedom RX ad on another website or app after visiting ours. If we run remarketing, it works only from the fact that a browser visited our public marketing pages. We do not build ad audiences from your health information, intake answers, purchases of specific medications, or anything else you tell a provider, and we do not send that information to any ad platform.

Remarketing cookies load only if you opt in through the consent banner. If you change your mind, you can switch them off at any time:

• Use the Cookie preferences link in the footer of any page.
• Email support@freedomrxhealth.com with the subject “Opt out of ads” and we will honor it.
• Use the industry opt-out tools at optout.aboutads.info (Digital Advertising Alliance) and optout.networkadvertising.org (Network Advertising Initiative).
• Adjust your ad settings directly with Google.
• Turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser. We treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out of targeted advertising, as described in Section 7.

6. Health information and HIPAA

When you complete a visit, your health information is handled by the independent, licensed providers and licensed pharmacies who deliver your care. Where they are covered entities under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), your protected health information is governed by HIPAA and their Notices of Privacy Practices, available through the patient portal. Where Freedom RX handles health information on their behalf, we do so under contracts that restrict its use to delivering your care and running the service.

Regardless of legal category, we apply the same rule to all health information we touch: it is used to deliver and support your care, never for advertising, and never disclosed for anyone else’s marketing.

7. When we disclose information, and your rights

Who we disclose to

• Care partners: the licensed providers and pharmacies who evaluate you, prescribe when appropriate, and fill and ship your order.
• Service providers: companies that work for us under contract, such as hosting, payment processing, shipping, email delivery, and analytics. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when necessary to prevent fraud or protect the rights and safety of patients, our partners, or the public.
• Business transfers: if Freedom RX is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy’s commitments.

Your privacy rights

Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access it, to correct it, to delete it, to receive a copy, to opt out of targeted advertising and any “sale” or “sharing” as your state defines those terms, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We extend these rights to all our patients and visitors regardless of state.

Visitors in the EEA, UK, or other regions with consent based privacy laws: your consent is the legal basis for every non-essential cookie, and you can withdraw it as easily as you gave it, through the Cookie preferences link in the footer. The rights above, including access, correction, deletion, and portability, apply to you as well; email support@freedomrxhealth.com and we will honor them.

To exercise any right, email support@freedomrxhealth.com. We will verify your identity before acting on a request, respond within the time your state’s law requires (and in any case within 45 days), and never charge you for a reasonable request. If we deny a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will have someone else review it.

Global Privacy Control: we honor GPC browser signals as a valid request to opt out of targeted advertising and of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for the browser sending the signal.

8. Data security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vendor contracts that require appropriate security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but protecting your information is a core part of how we operate. If a breach affecting your information ever occurs, we will notify you as required by law.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including delivering your care, meeting legal obligations such as medical record and pharmacy retention laws, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

10. Children

The Site and our services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, email support@freedomrxhealth.com and we will delete it.

11. Links to other sites

The Site links to third party sites, such as our patient portal, LegitScript, and payment or shipping partners. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we encourage you to read them.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top and, for material changes, provide more prominent notice on the Site or by email. Our two core commitments do not change: we never sell your personal information, and your health information is never used for advertising.
